The best adventures are always unplanned.|30/06/2017
It all started out alright. No, actually it didn’t. We were supposed to meet each other at school at seven o’clock sharp and then we’ll ride a grabcar to PSID (Philippine School of Interior Design) from there. But what do you expect with a bunch of late-comers? As expected, the seven o’clock turned into 8 o’clock and then 9 o clock. So from the 9:00 ETA we arrived at PSID at around 10 o’ clock.
Despite the time mishap we managed to arrive at PSID. The library was beautiful. I felt like Belle when Beast showed her his large library. Although it might not have been as big as Beast’s, the bookshelves were still filled to the roof by various Interior Design books- it was ID heaven. PSID itself is a beautiful school too. I immediately fell in love with it and the kind and accommodating staff were just the cherry on top- no scary librarian nor lunch lady here. Kind of regretting why I didn’t took photos of the school.
So after our visit to the library, we went to BGC to eat at Sunnies Cafe. The original plan was, really, to just visit the PSID library for our theses but since we’re already in the “south”, why not make the most of it, right? So that’s how we ended up at Sunnies Cafe at BGC.
Today’s event was really the calm before the storm because (1)the commute home was really a storm, literally and figuratively speaking, and (2)this will probably be our last hurrah before the storm a.k.a. thesis.
Despite everything that happened it’s still one for the books.
