Since ukay-ukay (thrift shops) seems to be the trend these days, I wanted to show you guys my first ever ukay hauls. I have always wanted to try to buy clothes at thrift shops but I found it hard to find good ones in Manila. The ukay-ukay shops near UST aren’t that much great either. But upon my stay at Cebu, I found the perfect thrift shop that is a haven for k-fashion lovers.

Tee Time
I’ve always love vintage things or at least has a vintage-y feel to it. Which is exactly what I can say about these shirts that I bought at Artwork. A supposed window shopping turned impulse spree. Continue reading “Tee Time”
Jewel
some people were born artists while some were inspired to become one (maybe from watching art attack)
This is my personal study on how to render gems. It’s still has a lot of rough edges and still needs a lot of polishing (pun intended) but that’s what this study is for. Continue reading “Jewel”
#Girl Boss
I care too much of what people think of me- I hate it. I mean there’s nothing wrong with taking into consideration other people’s opinions about you because it can sometimes help you become a better person but you also have to take it in moderation, same goes to the advisers. There’s a difference between being helpful and being condescending; being insecure and being humble; and confidence and insensitiveness. The problem with me is that I am too insecure; I care too much of what the next person thinks of me to the point that it’s affecting my way of living- and not in a good way. I accept everything people say even the condescending ones. Instead of doing things for my betterment, I’m more focused on pleasing people and not make them feel disappointed. Clueless
be strong when you are weak, brave when you are afraid, and humble when you are victorious…
A few days ago I turned nineteen and I still can’t believe how time flies by so fast. I can still remember twelve year old me sitting in class, not listening to the teacher, and imagining myself teleporting in college with just a blink of an eye. Boy, was that accurate af because that is exactly what I feel- like I just closed my eyes for a second and suddenly find myself in college facing challenges I don’t think I can handle. It’s overwhelming how days, weeks, go by so fast. I can’t believe I’m already 19 then I’ll be 20 in a year and next thing you know I’ll be in my thirties thinking about what I should and should’ve done in my youth. I’m already on the evening of my teenage life and soon I will officially be stepping into the grown up world and it scares me because I don’t feel anything but.

Think Pink
I promised myself I wouldn’t buy clothes that is higher than my “reasonable price mark” which is Php1000. I consider it over-spending if I ever go beyond it but the past week has been especially stressful that I can’t help indulge a little bit.
